The project aims to train 5000 lady livestock workers (LLW's) for which UNDP under its Gender Support Programme is funding 5 Million US$. The offer was made by UNDP themselves, primarily because of the Nestle's credibility and also the Nestle's engagement with the communities in the milk collection areas. The overall programme has two components in terms of province wise implementation i.e ; a) Punjab province project component with Nestle , for US$ 3.9 Million and ; b) Sindh Province project component with Engro Foods , for US$ 1.1 Million.
