Don't Trust Me I am A Vet

Don't you think the title is so unusual? Janet Mahoney wrote it on BBC network. Chech it out:

The Action Group Against The Conduct Department of The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons was formed two years ago.Felicity Norton and myself had both lost animals in horrific circumstances due to veterinary cruelty, incompetence and mis-conduct.We had both put complaints to the RCVS only to find it was a complete waste of time.My MP was contacted and her words were, that if my complaint is anything to go by the complaints system at the RCVS leaves a lot to be desired.INDEED IT DOES.Felicity and myself set out to campaign against the profession, and the lack of accountability. We now have a countrywide Action Group, of people totally disgusted with the veterinary profession.Whilst we were campaigning with the petition for an ombudsman for us the veterinary consumer. We heard so many HORROR stories of negligence,incompetence,mis-conduct sometimes plain cruelty.WE HAD TO STOP.We are all firmly of the opinion that there are times, when professional standards require some sort of explanation. To us the PUBLIC.We will continue to campaign to get this profession out of the dark ages.It is shocking to discover that you have more come back on a faulty tap washer, than how your pet is cared for in the hands of the nation's vets.
