A lot of people know Labrador as a housing dog, as kind as Golden Retriever. In the other side, Poodle known as a funny dog with a fur covered and makes it like a doll. In 1989, an Australian breeder, Wally Conron first delivered a Labradoodle. He succeeds to cross the Labrador retriever with Standard Poodle. His aim was to combine the Poodles' low-shed coat with the gentleness and trainability of the Labrador, in order to provide a guide dog for the blind with less shedding, and hence more suitable for people with allergies to fur and dander. Today, Labradoodles are often used as Guide, Assistance and Therapy dogs.

Now very early generation Labradoodles had a wide variety of coat types. Some curlier coated puppies matured into a low allergy coat, while others started as low allergy but by 8 months of age had shed into one that was not low allergy. In addition, some puppies grew up looking like Golden Retrievers with a thinner coat, while others took on the look of a Labrador Retriever.
