The College of Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Radiology. This appointment may be tenure track or clinical track.
A DVM or equivalent degree is required. Preference will be given to candidates who are board certified in radiology by the American College of Veterinary Radiology but candidates certified by other Colleges of specialty training in imaging or candidates who are board-eligible for their College will also be considered.
The diagnostic imaging area in the current Veterinary Teaching Hospital is extremely well equipped and provides in-house service in diagnostic radiology, digital fluoroscopy, diagnostic ultrasound, nuclear medicine, multi detector computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging at 1.5T. All diagnostic imaging is completely electronic, with digital radiography systems in 2 small and 1 large animal rooms. A fully integrated web based Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS allows for easy report generation and image distribution throughout the Teaching Hospital. The RIS and PACS are readily accessible from off site. |

We are a 2 centre Small Animal Practice on the Hants / Surrey Border. One practice is in Farnborough, the other in Farnham. The Practice is very well established and has just been bought by 3 new partners. We only have 2 veterinary nurses (both qualified) and are looking for a third to complement this dedicated and enthusiastic team. The job will involve working at both practices, we are looking for an extra nurse as we want to be able to not only provide a high standard of clinical care but also to start running nurse clinics and puppy parties and so on. There is no on call and a 1 in 4 weekend rota, involving Saturday morning surgery, a short Sunday morning surgery and caring for in patients. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to the care of patients, motivated and shows initiative. We aim to work in a relaxed and friendly environment while at the same time putting our patients' and clients' needs first. Salery is negotiable. We look forward to hearing from you.
