If it's a toss-up between the job at Starbucks, being an assistant groundskeeper at a golf course, doing web design, and being a veterinary assistant, we don't want you. We DO want you if you have a real desire to work with pets and their people. We are looking for the right person, someone who really wants a start in the world of animal health care. We want you if you want to get in on the ground floor, learning about animal handling, basic health care, client relations, and the operations of a veterinary hospital. We want you if you are thinking about a career as an Animal Health Technologist. We want you if you have a knack for dealing with the public and an interest and aptitude for biology, math, and English. Is this you? The job is full time. The job is permanent (preferably). We are looking for good, long term employees. Most of your time will be spent in reception, The remainder will be assisting the veterinarian and technical staff in the day to day care for pets.
