Santa Cruz Veterinary Hospital has a great opportunity for an energetic, self-motivated team member to utilize his or her full range of skills. We are seeking a fulltime RVT to join our 24 hour emergency and specialty referral practice as an Intensive Care Technician. Our ICU technicians are responsible for the care and comfort of critically ill and debilitated animals that come in during emergency hours or during the day within our general or specialty referral practice.
Santa Cruz Veterinary Hospital was the first specialty referral practice on the West Coast and has a long history of dedication to cutting edge medicine. We are just west of the Santa Cruz Mountains, 10 minutes to the closest beach and have some of the best surf spots in California just a few miles away. Qualified candidates will have:
· A current RVT License.
· Work experience as a general practice technician for at least 3 years and/or an emergency technician in an intensive care or critical care environment.
· Candidates must be people-oriented, compassionate and work well on a team.
· Graveyard, Swing shifts and weekend shifts available.
· Competitive wages $18.00-$28.00/hour depending on level of skill.
